Country Cloggers

Traditional clogging was usually done to live music provided by some fiddlers. That is not always practical, so our  group, Country Cloggers from the Seattle - Greater Puget Sound area, dance to a variety of recorded music including bluegrass, country western,  cajun, pop, hip hop and even waltz. We have a lot of fun; it is hard to put down once you try it.

Our instructor/director is Anne Mills with Kay Velmire also holding classes. There are four levels of classes, starting out with walking in the beginner's class. Watching some of the advanced people can make you think it's too difficult, but if you start out with the beginners and keep after it, you will be amazed what you can do, looking back a year or two later.

Classes are held at Silverdale and Belfair.

Country Cloggers have workshops several times a year in the pacific northwest, sponsored by Anne Mills and Country Cloggers, where you can learn the newest dances. Often a dozen or more new routines are taught here at great places like Circle 8 Ranch on Memorial Day Weekend or KickOff  in Tacoma on Labor Day weekend.
